Several have been referred to us from other homes who could not cope with their severe behavioural problems. However, they have demonstrated radical transformations over time, which their families and social workers have found quite remarkable.

We attribute this simply to the time, kindness, endless patience, love and understanding that we give to all who come into our care. And that is down to our staff for whom care is a vocation, not a job.

A happy consequence of these results has also been that the service users have been able to leave the home to live semi-independant lives in the community, which has reduced the cost of their on going
care and enabled care budgets to be more effectively spent.
